The Swiss Air Force organized an exhibition of a B-17 Flying Fortress and a B-24 Liberator at the Dübendorf civil airfield. The exhibition attracted a lot of interest from the Swiss population and the SBB ran a special train to Dübendorf every day. The proceeds from the sale of tickets (67,753.-Fr.) went to the International Committee of the Red Cross on the express condition of the Americans.

B-17G-30-DL, Serial No. : 42-38204, Marking: PU-H, 8th Air Force, 303rd Bomb Group, 358th Squadron. (The B-17G made an emergency landing at Geneva on April 24, 1944).
B-24J-2-NT, Serail No.: 42-78600 Marking : AL, Nik Name : "Dopey/Kathryn Anne" from the 15th Air Force, 98th Bomb Group, 343rd Squadron. The B-24J made an emergency landing at Dübendorf on April 8, 1945.
