Jimmy Stewart, bomber pilot and actor, was a good friend of the pilot Everett L. Bailey, First Lieutenant. He had planned to make a movie together with Bailey after the war, but that unfortunately never happened, since Bailey was shot down from the B-176»Little Chup» Serial No. 42-102446 by the Swiss Air Force over the Greifen Lake on April 24, 1944, losing his life. After the war, Jimmy Stewart shot the movie «It’s a Wonderful Life», a beautiful film he dedicated to First Lieutenant Everett L. Bailey.
