Air battles, bombing raids between the USA and Switzerland in WWII

The not very widely known aerial fighting and bombing that occurred between the United States and Switzerland during WWII. On September 5, 1944 two Swiss Air Force ME-109s were shot down by two American P-51 Mustangs. Lt. Paul Treu was killed and Lieutenant Heiniger survived injured.
