The veterans of the USAAF were welcomed in Zug and later visited Adelboden. Of the B-17 G-30-DL who emergency landed on the Lake of Zug on March 16th, 1944, the following crew members turned up: Ball Turret: S/Sgt. Charles W. Page and Tail Gunner: S/Sgt. Jarrell F. Legg (8th Air Force, 385th Bomb Group, 550th Squadron), along with other veterans from the USAAF who either emergency landed or washed out in Switzerland.
