RIP Peter Brown Chief Engineer on the B-17G Sally B, in England, the last B-17 still flying in Europe today. Peter Brown took his final flight on June 10 after a brief illness. Peter Brown's contribution to the aircraft and the Sally B organization is unsurpassed. His inspiration, engineering expertise and tenacity kept the B-17 Sally B in the air for more than four decades; the B-17 Sally B could not have had a better ambassador, nor could it have been better represented. He was a brilliant and warm human being, engineer and team leader, he will remain in our hearts as long as we live - he will be sorely missed. Rest in peace.
